EXERCISE KIT LIST
All cadets attending the exercise must be at Popson Park Picnic Shelter @ 0900h and be picked up at 1600h (4:00pm).

Dress In Layers

The following will be required for the exercise:

Wear This:                                                                                 
❏ Snow Boots (NO RUNNERS)
❏ Warm socks
❏ Long sleeve shirt
❏ Wool, down or fleece sweater
❏ Warm pants (NOT JEANS)
❏ Hat
❏ Sunglasses
❏ Backpack for day use
❏ Snow/rain pants
❏ Winter resistant Jacket (depending on
weather)
MASKS AND GLOVES ARE MANDATORY

Pack This:

❏ Extra pairs warm socks (2 pairs)
❏ Extra gloves/mitts
❏ Lip balm
❏ Facial Tissue/wet wipes
❏ Water canteen/water bottle and carrying
case (Full)
❏ Mug (preferably with lid)
❏ Scarf or neck warmer
❏ Notebook and pens/pencils
❏ Sun screen
❏ Water resistant Jacket
❏ Toque and mitts
❏ Long johns
 

Optional
❏ Camera
❏ Multi-tool
❏ Own fire started
❏ Personal Hand sanitizer

The following items will not be allowed on the exercise:
- knives
- weapons of any kind
- Alcohol or other mood-altering substances
- Anything that breaks the Code Of Conduct
- DO NOT BRING ANY ITEMS THAT ARE EXPENSIVE AND/OR HAVE SENTIMENTAL VALUE
SUCH AS JEWELRY

Any cadet who brings medication, either over the counter or prescription, will be required
to hand the medication over to the exercise staff who will supervise the handling. If a
parent/guardian does not wish this, they may, in writing, inform the Commanding Officer
